Hi,

OK, working again with Spotify Version 0.9..0.133.gd18ed589. :)

Of course, still does NOT work if Spotify is in the system tray (notification area) and Blockify Lite 0.4 is running.

First of all, I would like to thank the author of this software, its a great initiative!

But I setup the Global Hotkeys yesterday, and today when I opened it up, it said that all my hotkeys I setup yesterday are already in use by another program...which is toastify...

Is there a known issue with this? Or perhaps a workaround?

Awesome - can you send me the code diff? I have another change that just skips WPF altogether and uses the Win32 apis, but if this works, great! I'm running your version now to see what it looks like over here.

Thanks vader1809, I'll give your version a try. I forked it too and made the change but it kept reverting after some condition. Wasn't reboot in my case.

nachmore, I noticed that after I rebooted with 1.6 that the issue came back, so I don't know why it worked - then stopped - for me but I went back to using the custom version I made. I've also had a handful of requests for that version so I have put the source (zipped up) and just the application up on Skydrive, here's the link: http://sdrv.ms/10VYJZF. Just download Toastify.exe.rename - and drop the "rename" after downloading. Put it in place of the original version in your Program Files\Toastify folder (Program FIles (x86) on 64 bit systems). Feel free to download and use (and the source is up there in case you want it or are paranoid about my change). Hope this helps everyone out.

Just for the record, I have the issue to (Win7, 64bit). Would be great if this could be solved, possibly by solution proposed on top.

Besides that I must say that the shortcuts for pausing/playing etc have been most useful!

Hey,

I'm running Toastify on Windows 8 64 bit and everything seems fine except it doesn't show the notifications on the desktop (for instance it does start Spotify when starting Toastify). Also no error messages. I'm I missing something or what, I have no clue.

Took me a while to figure out why I couldn't see the toast. I have to set the offsets to 390 right and 240 bottom to be able to se the toast in the lower right corner of the screen.

Any idea why the toast ends up this far off the screen unless I increase the offsets that much?

Thanks for the info, I have experience with C# but not with C++ and I have never heard about Spy++. Thank you so much.

Now I figure out how to use Spy++ but I do not know why I cannot get the WM_APPCOMMAND messages from Spotify. I tried doing it for Windows Media Player just to verify that is working and I can get the messages in log list. But nothing coming from Spotify :(.

Any idea on why I am not getting the messages from Spotify?

I was looking at the code and I was wondering about how did you get the correct values to send to the Win32.SendMessage function?

    PlayPause = 917504,
    Mute = 524288,
    VolumeDown = 589824,
    VolumeUp = 655360,
    Stop = 851968,
    PreviousTrack = 786432,
    NextTrack = 720896

Really appreciate your inputs!

Hey,

OK so Spotify updated itself to:

Version 0.8.8.349.g3657a532

Now there are no toasts even if Spotify is open on the screen and in focus.
