Hi and thanks a lot for your great tool !

On the home page there is an example of a toast popup with song by Lily Allen and the cover, but I don't have this : I always have the spotify logo :( even if there is a cover in Spotify.

Just discovered this awesome little tool and am sadly having the same problem. While I like the logo, I'd much rather see nothing or see the artwork where it is showing up.

As per report from jalude55:

Changed ActionHookCallback after creating a public static Boolean called IsProcessing in the hotkey class. It would skip more than one track when skipping tracks. This seems to work a lot better for me although i'm sure this is a much better way to solve this issue.

So i just installed it, got it to work several times. Begin listening to music then don't like the next track, press next track, notice taost aint there, and don't like song, next song, and now not even keybinding work.

So i run win7, spotify, spotify-controller-server & Xsplit.

Global keybinds seem to work tho if i have Spotify open.. is the new 1.6 in generally just buggy or is this just me having so many bugs?

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - This app is AMAZING!! It took me over 18 months of putting up with Spotify's lack of global hotkeys to find this app, but I'm so glad I did. I'm pretty dang pumped that I can use all of my old Winamp global hotkeys now. Thanks so much for your hard work! Hotkeys might not seem like much, but when you work at a computer and listen to music as much as I do, they really do make things so much easier.

OK, working again with Spotify Version 0.9..0.133.gd18ed589. :)

Of course, still does NOT work if Spotify is in the system tray (notification area) and Blockify Lite 0.4 is running.

First of all, I would like to thank the author of this software, its a great initiative!

But I setup the Global Hotkeys yesterday, and today when I opened it up, it said that all my hotkeys I setup yesterday are already in use by another program...which is toastify...

Is there a known issue with this? Or perhaps a workaround?

Awesome - can you send me the code diff? I have another change that just skips WPF altogether and uses the Win32 apis, but if this works, great! I'm running your version now to see what it looks like over here.

Thanks vader1809, I'll give your version a try. I forked it too and made the change but it kept reverting after some condition. Wasn't reboot in my case.

nachmore, I noticed that after I rebooted with 1.6 that the issue came back, so I don't know why it worked - then stopped - for me but I went back to using the custom version I made. I've also had a handful of requests for that version so I have put the source (zipped up) and just the application up on Skydrive, here's the link: http://sdrv.ms/10VYJZF. Just download Toastify.exe.rename - and drop the "rename" after downloading. Put it in place of the original version in your Program Files\Toastify folder (Program FIles (x86) on 64 bit systems). Feel free to download and use (and the source is up there in case you want it or are paranoid about my change). Hope this helps everyone out.

Just for the record, I have the issue to (Win7, 64bit). Would be great if this could be solved, possibly by solution proposed on top.

Besides that I must say that the shortcuts for pausing/playing etc have been most useful!

The title basically says it all. It would be great if you could configure global hotkeys for:

* star-ing the current track
* upvoting the current track
* downvoting the current track

I haven't been able to find anything that implements this but it would be really great and handy for listening to Radio Stations and discovering new music. I often don't star tracks because I just forget about it or don't want to maximize Spotify to click it and then minimize again- so this would really help me and others to actually "remember" the great new music they found.

Hey,

I'm running Toastify on Windows 8 64 bit and everything seems fine except it doesn't show the notifications on the desktop (for instance it does start Spotify when starting Toastify). Also no error messages. I'm I missing something or what, I have no clue.
